BaseElements is an application analysis tool for Claris FileMaker. In this video, we explore what BaseElements is, highlight, and demonstrate a few features, as well as explain why it is a necessary tool for the professional FileMaker developer. We use this tool for reviewing our own FileMaker apps, and for the Productive Computing Health Assessments – where we review a customer’s FileMaker app for errors or unused items.
BaseElements is a standard set of sharing enabled .fmp12 FileMaker files available from Goya. All licenses have full layout access, including the ability to link to BaseElements Data Tables from external files and from your own scripts. It also includes the free and Open Source BaseElements plugin with many useful functions for you to add to your own solutions.
